Global Scholar Travel Award |

ASV has established the Global Scholar Travel Award to provide financial support for talented virologists working around the world to attend and present their work at the ASV annual meeting. These awards cover registration, travel, and accommodations in their entirety. |

Eligibility |
|
|
To be eligible, applicants must be performing research activities in low to middle-income countries (LMIC) as defined by Wellcome using criteria from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Previous ASV Global Scholar awardees are eligible to apply, but an individual can only receive the award every other year. The award is open to scientists at all academic levels, but preference will be given to those who are at a level equivalent to Assistant Professor and who present their work at this meeting. |
